Nathan with the look of can I have some more of this stuff this is really great. I just gave them a small amount of cake because they have some issues with their stomachs and I did not want them to get sick from the cake. Nathan seemed to enjoy his piece of cake a little more than Nicholas.

Nathan and Nicholas waiting for their Birthday cake or a piece it. We were going to have a small Birthday party for them and we ended up with 26 people. We had a jungle theme party and the boys seemed to enjoy all the attention they were getting. This is the first set of twins in our family. We are so blessed to be a part of their lives. It just seems like yesterday that we got them but it has been since July 17, 08.

Nathan and Nicholas in their little wagon we have one more piece that can attach to this and that is for our Grandson Austin. The boys loved going for a walk as you can tell from the smiles on their faces. They were so cute I would pull them and they had to watch and make sure Daddy was walking right beside them and then we switched places and they had to make sure I was walking right beside them. This is the first Easter with us and they did real well in the nursery with so many other children. As a matter of fact when we went to get them out of the nursery and I mean we as in Kaela, Josh, Cliff and I, LOL :) the nursery worker said they were the happiest babies there. That is a testament to the fact that love and hard work pays off. Nathan cried all the time when we first got him and Nicholas would not look at you. Deprivation was their lifestyle till they were 3 1/2 months of age and it took a toll on them but they have bounced back. God has been in control all along with the twins and he knew what they needed. The daycare they go to has been a blessing as well. The workers there love the twins as much as we do and they go out of their way to make them feel special and for that we are eternally gratful.

Easter is about celebrating what Christ has done for us and a reminder for us to live each day for him. This is not easy and I fall short of that goal daily but thank God for his mercy and his strength. We love our family and enjoy when we get to spend time with all of them. Kaela and Josh are growing so fast and I wish it would slow down. Josh will be graduating in May. He is very responsible and has had a part time job since he turned 16 and he keeps his grades up. I am very proud of him and his work ethics. He does a great job helping out with the twins. Kaela will be a Junior this next school year. She is still cheering on the varsity squad. I am proud of her as well she made straight A's this last grade period with all she has going on that is great. She does a great job in helping out with the twins too. Nathan and Nicholas love Josh and Kaela so much they just grin from ear to ear every time they walk into the room. Of course Nicholas is a daddy's boy and Nathan is a Mommy's boy. They do swap from time to time. They have really blessed our lives more then we could have ever imagined. If you would have told me a year ago I would be parenting twins I would have said your crazy but we God place them in your life you don't ask questions you just love them and do the best you can. They are alot of work but they bring so much joy they are worth it. They give us so much more then we can ever give them.
