THE BOYS

I had a picture of Brian earlier and this is one of him, Bradley and Jacob. Are they not the sweetest looking children!!! The boys are my daughter-in-laws nephews and both of them are very well behaved and we love to spend time with all of them when we go and visit. Jacob is taking after his cousins in his intelligence both Brian and Bradley are very smart.

Florida Vacation July 2008

Ok, this is not the best picture in the world of us due to the fact we were having some camera issues. This is the most recent picture of our family. We stayed in Florida for a week and my son and daughter got to bring a friend along. They went Banana boating and para sailing and on some sling shot ride. Of course, I just wanted them to stay on the ground as much as possible. I am a little over protective of them. You know you hear all those horror stories about kids getting hurt and you just want to wrap yours in bubble wrap even if they are teenagers. I asked my daughter how high do you go up and she said " oh, the rope is about 100 to 200 feet long and I said What!" Well, while they were up in the air I was asking the lady who runs the para sailing booth how high they would go or just how long was that rope and she said, just 1200 feet long and they go up about 500 feet. Yes, I just about had a heart attack. She said we give them a better ride then the 100 feet. I said"Thanks!"

Cruise picture

Our family minus Adam and Kourtney went on a cruise last October on the Liberty of the Seas by Roayal Caribbean. This is the largest ship they have. They will come out with a new one I think in 2009. Anyways, we went to Labadee, Haiti, Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. We went with my sister and her family and just had a blast. This was the first time my children went on a cruise and I think they really enjoyed it. We had several formal nights and this picture is from one of those nights. I love to cruise due to the fact you really don't have to do a thing and you get waited on constantly. That is what I call a true vacation. Oh, by the way the good looking teenager in the picture is my son Joshua. He is a gem!!! He works part time and is a senior in high school. He has a wonderful girlfriend that we love to death. Josh is not your average teenager getting into mischief he has a good head on his shoulders. He makes very good decisions and loves to save all and I do mean all his money. He paid for half his car and he pays for the gas and insurance which teaches him lots of responsibility. I think that is so important this day and age.

This is the most recent picture of Kourtney and my precious Grandchild Austin. He is sleeping through a wedding shower. It is amazing how well they adapt to new situations as long as mom is there with them. Kourtney is a great mom and has so much love to pass along to Austin. I think he is a lucky little boy. Since he is my Grandchild I will spoil him like all grandparents do. I get to keep him on Saturday nights while my daughter works and I enjoy every minute of it.

High School Football Game

My husband and I took the twins, Nathan & Nicholas to a football game that my daughter was cheering at last night. They had a good time and just looked around at all the sights and sounds. They really seem to enjoy the bands. Of course, they got a good amount of attention and they did not seem to mind that one bit. They seem to be adjusting well to us and those around them. Kaela had a good time cheering and being around her friends. She was not sure we would come to her game since we had the twins and I told her that she would not be left out. Our family is about supporting everyone in the family. I may not be at every game since I have the twins but I will attend as many as possible.

This is my husband Cliff and our Grandson, Jacob. I think he loves to play as much as Jacob does. We did not notice the sign on the back of the chair till we took the picture. Jacob had a great time and we enjoyed playing with him going up and down the slides. He has tons and I mean tons of energy. I know his mommy has fun chasing him around. He keeps her pretty busy but she loves it and loves teaching him new things.

This is my older son Adam to the right and his beautiful wife Roxy and of course my precious Grandchild, Jacob. Brian, Roxy's nephew is on the left he is such a sweet child. I don't think I have come across a child with such manners. We went to Monkey Joe's so Jacob could have a good time on the blow up equipment w/o getting hurt as he has severe hemophilia and has to be very careful. Roxy is such a great mother to him and she keeps a very close eye on him at all times more so then the average parent. Jacob has to have factor IV's whenever he gets a bad bruise due to his nonexistent clotting factor. We love Jacob so much and we get to see him every few months as they live in Georgia. I could not ask for a better daughter-in-law. She is a great person and loves life.

This is my daughter Kaela at her homecomming dance. She is a cheerleader at her school and is very active with school and cheerleading. She loves to hang out with friends. She has such a beautiful spirit. She loves to help people and goes out of her way to make others feel welcome. I always call her my social butterfly.

This is my daughter, Kourtney with my newest Grandchild. He is such a beautiful baby and his name is Austin. He is about two and 1/2 months old now and is just enjoying being an infant. Of course he is spoiled rotten and why not that is what Grandparents are for.

Here is a picture of the beautiful twins. I am new to all this so please be patient with me as I try to figure out how to post pictures with text. We went to a picnic that my husband's office hosted. We all had a great time and enjoyed visiting everyone.

Life Changes

Wow,

When God places twins in your home for you have no idea how long, what do you do? You love them with all your heart, mind and soul. God gave me four beautiful, wonderful children of my own and now he has blessed me with twins that a family member had and could not care for at this time. My children are 21,19,17,15 and five month old twin boys. I pray that God will make sure the boys are in the best possible place if thats with us or with someone who could love them and care for them like they should be cared for. We are growing in love with them day by day. It will be so hard for them to go away. Who knows what God has in store for us.
